If you’re watching your protein intake, trying to keep it above a certain amount, here’s a really handy and surprisingly tasty way to get a quick 20grams of protein. If you’re a Costco member, all the better (although not required)!

We call this snack “glop” (it will soon be obvious why) but of course you can call it whatever you want! It mixes up in under two minutes, with only two steps and, again, with only two ingredients!

Now, maybe you have already figured this out for yourself. Or maybe you think it’s a stretch to call this a recipe when it has only 2 ingredients and 2 steps. Or maybe you just think that ‘glop’ is a ridiculous name (so do we, and we’re open to suggestions!)

Now here are the two nifty things about the applesauce pouches (and this applies both to the GoGo Squeez brand and the Kirkland brand):

1. They are the perfect amount to absorb two scoops (one full serving) of the protein powder, and
2. GoGo Squeez and TerraCycle have partnered to offer a free recycling program for the empty pouches, you just send the empty pouches to GoGo Squeez postage paid by them(!), even if they are not from the GoGo Squeez brand! So yes, you can also send them your Kirkland pouches (although we buy the GoGo Squeez ones just to support them in offering this awesome recycling program)!

Seal your box, affix the prepaid shipping label, and send it to us to be recycled.
